Heavy rain, strong winds and even snow will make for a miserable bank holiday Monday as the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Temperatures dropped to an unseasonable low of -1C on Sunday night, with much of the UK waking up to frosty conditions. Rain will sweep in across most of Britain during the day, with winds up to 50mph, and the north of England could even see a smattering of the white stuff thanks to the cold snap.
The Met Office has issued a two day weather warning for wind, from noon on Monday until 9am on Tuesday, for all of England and Wales south of Birmingham.
