Britain is set to yo-yo from "summer to winter and back" with a -5C Arctic chill to counter Easter highs before the heat wave returns.
Thursday is predicted to see temperatures soaring once again to 21C by Thursday thanks to a French heat flare. This is expected to bring hot temperatures and sunny skies right through the weekend.
However, first Brits must contend with an aggressive cold snap for a couple of days with some waking up to -3C in the south and -5C in Scotland - colder than lows in Reykjavik, Iceland.
This is thanks to freezing cold air moving over the UK from Norway yesterday. The topsy turvy weather is made all the more bizarre with Britons still in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
