Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Snack manufacturer McVitie's has been named as the UK's favourite 'nostalgic' food brand. Known for its classic Digestive biscuits, the company beat the likes of Wagon Wheel, Ambrosia, Bisto and Vienetta to take the top spot of brands associated with the best memories.

The poll was carried out by advertising agency isobel, and surveyed 1,500 adults about the brands that they linked with happy times and childhood nostalgia, reports Hull Live.

Members of Generation Z, which refers to people born between the years of 1997 and 2012, identified a different list of brands that they feel nostalgic towards.Those aged 18-24 said they felt most nostalgic about Carte D’or, ahead of Angel Delight and the flavoured milk drink Yazoo.McVitie's was given the top vote by 59% of consumers.

Established in Edinburgh in 1830, the firm has been part of UK family life for decades.Some 63% said that they had bought McVitie’s in the past five years with 59% explaining that it is likely that they will be looking to buy the biscuit brand in the next 12 months.Narrowly missing first place by 1% (58%), After Eight is the UK’s second most nostalgic brand with Fox’s in third (55%) and retro ice-cream brands Vienetta and Cornetto in 4th and 5th.
