Tyson Fury has responded to Anthony Joshua as the two British heavyweights look to announce their next opponents. The ‘Gypsy King’ last fought in December and has since seen proposed fights with Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua fail to come to fruition.
The WBC champion seemingly has his eyes set on returning in September but with no mandatory challenger it remains to be seen who Fury will face next.
Meanwhile, Joshua’s team have been focused on delivering him a suitable opponent for August 12. A rematch with Dillian Whyte is reportedly close to being announced, ahead of a big-money fight with Deontay Wilder in December, and ‘AJ’ has flown out to Dallas, Texas to begin his training camp.
The former unified heavyweight champion shared footage of himself using a mattress as a heavy bag, with the 33-year-old continuing his rebuild under coach Derrick James.
