Professional boxer Tyson Fury explained why he missed his son's birth last month, as he revealed "bills have to be paid" and "things have to be sacrificed".
The doting parents welcomed their baby son, Prince Rico Paris Fury, in September and Paris has been keeping her followers updated on Instagram ever since, while Tyson prepared for his upcoming fight against UFC champion Francis Ngannou in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated boxing match on October 28, Tyson appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss his training, and how he missed the birth of his son.
Kate Garraway said to the boxer: "As you say, you have been training for this, very very hard, to the point when you even missed the birth of your seventh child. That must have been a blow?" Tyson agreed: "Yes that's correct but daddy has gotta do what daddy's gotta do, you know, bills have to be paid, things have to be sacrificed and Paris understands that when I am in camp, I can't be there all night at the hospital." However the proud dad of seven revealed that he did meet his son shortly after he was born, as he said: "But I got to see him early hours in the morning when they were born so that's all fantastic".
