Tyson Fury's camp have confirmed that talks are underway to finalise a date for the Dillian Whyte fight. The Gypsy King will return to the ring in 2022 after the World Boxing Council officially ordered him to face mandatory challenger Whyte.

The two camps have now entered into a free negotiations period, giving them 30 days to agree a deal. Now Fury's promoter, Bob Arum, has spoken on the potential fight and has confirmed that talks are underway.

Arum, who promotes Fury in the US, told Sky Sports: "Why wouldn't Fury respect Whyte? Heavyweights throw bombs. If he doesn't respect him, he'll be in a lot of trouble. "Fury is enough of a professional, and a great fighter, and he knows that you don't take a guy like Whyte lightly." Arum
