Two Chilean women flew to Britain as 'burglary tourists' to target a millionaire businessman's wife for her designer handbags and jewellery, a court heard.

Rosa Dotes-Perez, 33, and Francisca Santana, 19, broke into the victim's £3million Cheshire home after being picked up by Jean Paul Pizarro-Carrasco, who had just arrived in the UK.

The pair damaged CCTV cameras and stole around £15,000 worth of luxury goods, including precious gifts and treasured items, from the home in Lymm while the victim and her husband were on holiday.

Officers busted them, though, after automatic number place recognition caught their rental car on false plates. Police searched the car and found designer handbags, jewellery and £400.
