Two women were arrested in separate motoring incidents by Greater Manchester police last night (Saturday) on suspicion of driving while under the influence of cannabis.
Salford police stopped a Peugeot 207 which they said was being driven erratically on Anaconda Drive, just off the A6042 ring road.
Officers said that the driver was spoken to and was given a drug wipe after being suspected of smoking cannabis. She then failed the drug wipe.
The 19-year-old was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drug driving. GMP Salford posted a message on Twitter at 3:48am stating: "Officers stopped a Peugeot 207 due to driving erratically on Anaconda Drive.
