Two people have been rushed to hospital after a car overturned in a horror crash near a Scots quarry. Emergency services raced to the B9157 at Orrock Quarry, near Kirkcaldy in Fife, after the alarm was raised at around 3.45pm on Friday.
It's understood a car was involved in a collision with a lorry before it overturned. Ambulance crews attended and two people were taken to hospital for treatment.
Their condition is currently unknown.A picture taken from the scene showed police and fire crews at the scene of the accident.
Officers quickly closed the road following the crash and it reopened shortly after 6pm.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.45pm on Friday, 4 November, 2022, police were called to the B9157 near Orrock Quarry, following a report of a two-vehicle crash."Two people were taken to hospital for treatment and the road reopened around 6.05pm."
