A Scottish vet who was reported missing on Friday from the Borders has been remembered as "the sweetest person", after a body was found during the search for her.
Kirsty Miller, 29, was reported missing from from Newtown St Boswells, but friends and family were left devastated after a body was discovered in Melrose at around 11:30am on Monday.
A formal identification has yet to take place but cops say that Kirsty's family have been informed. Heartbroken friends took to social media to pay tribute to Kirsty, with one writing: "This is such an awful shame.
I wouldn’t have made it through my first week at high school if it wasn’t for Kirsty. "She was such a clever girl and the sweetest person, my thoughts go out to her friends and family."Another added: "She was a brilliant vet and a valued member of the community.
