Two men have been charged with murder over the shooting of Salford student Aya Hachem. Suhayl Suleman, 37, and Lewis Otway, 41, have also been charged with the attempted murder of Pacha Khan. The Salford University law student was struck by a stray bullet shot from a passing Toyota Avensis. Suleman, of Shear Brow, Blackburn, and Otway, of Clitheroe Road, Manchester, have both been charged with murder and attempted murder.
Otway was arrested last night in the Dudley area of the West Midlands and Suleman was arrested in Blackburn. Both men are due to appear before Preston Crown Court tomorrow (Friday, January 28). See the latest court and crime news in your area by receiving email updates
