Two men arrested after 'shooting' and serious motorbike crash in Salford - a shotgun was found in the road

manchestereveningnews.co.ukSalford crashed shortly afterwards. A shotgun was found in the street following the smash on Liverpool Road in Irlam on Friday night.
Police say the bike had been used in a shooting on nearby Kings Road minutes earlier.A burnt-out black Chrysler found on Cutnook Lane, Irlam, is also being linked to the crash.Five men were seen setting fire to the car at about 8.15pm before running away.Following the crash two men, both aged in their early 20s, were taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.They were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm or ammunition with intent to endanger life and remain in hospital at this time.
