A TV chef known as a "mighty ninja in the kitchen" has passed away at the age of 46. My Kitchen Rules star Michael Murray died on Monday afternoon, a family remember has explained.Though no cause has yet been released, the tribute by an relative who asked not to be named read: "It's a shock to all those who know him." During an interview earlier this year, the TV chef revealed he spent the majority of the last 12 years in Central America where he had small parts on shows including telenovelas.
Michael - who is a big fan of celebrity cook Jamie Oliver - then returned to New Zealand following the pandemic. He told Women's Day: "My background is in modelling and acting.
