Donald Trump is pleading the fifth. The former President of the United States invoked the fifth amendment and refused to answer questions amid a deposition conducted by the New York attorney general on Wednesday (August 10), via CNN. “Under the advice of my counsel and for all of the above reasons, I declined to answer the questions under the rights and privileges afforded to every citizen under the United States Constitution,” Trump said in a statement.
