Trump Imposes Tariffs on Islands Where No Human Lives

Despite having zero population, several uninhabited islands has been identified as places Trump plans to impose a tariff.
On Wednesday (April 2), the White House announced that Trump will impose a 10% baseline tariff on all countries seeking to import goods to the United States. Keep reading to find out more… Many countries will face the base rate, while other items from trade partners, including the European Union and China, will face higher rates after being categorized as the “worst offenders” of unfair trade policies, according to the BBC.
The uninhabited Heard and McDonald Islands, an external territory of Australia, are included in territories being hit with the 10% tariff on goods.
