The Atlantic‘s editor in chief Jeffery Goldberg published a story on Monday (March 24) detailing how he was allegedly added to a group chat that “contained operational details of forthcoming strikes on Iran-backed Houthi-rebels in Yemen, including information about targets, weapons the U.S.
would be deploying, and attack sequencing.” Keep reading to find out more… According to Goldberg, he was added to a text chain on Signal, an open-source encrypted messaging service, on March 11.
Top national security officials for President Donald Trump such as Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, National Security Advisor Michael Walz, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, were allegedly included in the text chain.
