Tributes have been paid to a teenage boy killed after a car he was driving hit a wall during a police chase. Kyle Brotherton was driving a Toyota when the crash occurred in Stockport, Manchester just before 4am on Friday.
Cheshire Police officers were following the vehicle before the collision, the Manchester Evening News reports, which saw Kyle and a male passenger suffering serious injuries.
At least 100 mourners gathered at a local hall on Monday to pay tribute but the police were called out due to the potential breach of coronavirus regulations.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed it was investigating to see if any potential public order or lockdown breaches took place.
