Tributes have been paid to a 'gorgeous' mum who was killed in a dog attack in Merseyside. The 65-year-old victim, who has been named locally as Ann Dunn, was mauled to death in a property on St Brigids Crescent, Vauxhall.
Emergency services rushed to the street at around 4.25pm yesterday (October 3) and fought to save her life, but she was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation was launched as a cordon was put in place at the scene. Merseyside Police said five American bulldogs, which were inside the property, were handed over and have since been humanely destroyed. The victim has been named locally as Ann Dunn, with hundreds of people paying tribute to her on social media, the Liverpool Echo reports.
