The family of a woman who was mauled to death by dogs has released a heartbreaking tribute in her memory. Ann Dunn died after being attacked in a home in Vauxhall, Liverpool, on Monday, October 3.
At the time of the incident, police and paramedics rushed to the scene, however, she was pronounced dead a short time after they arrived.
Following this, officers seized five American bulldogs that were then "humanely destroyed". Ms Dunn, who worked as a cleaner at Liverpool John Moores University, has received a flurry of tributes, with a statement from Merseyside Police on behalf of her family, the Liverpool Echo reports. Life will never be the same without you," the family said alongside a picture of Ms Dunn. A spokesperson from Liverpool John Moores said: "The university community is absolutely shocked and devastated by this tragic loss and to lose Ann in this way is just heart-breaking.
