stabbed to death near a nature park. Tomasz Oleszak was declared dead in the early hours of Tuesday morning after he was rushed to hospital following the horror attack in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, on Monday night.
Two arrests have been made following the incident, including a 14-year-old boy who was arrested on suspicion of murder.A 13-year-old girl has also been held on suspicion of assisting an offender, and both she and the boy remain in custody, according to police.Tributes have since flooded in for Tomasz, who played for Gateshead Cleveland Hall CA youth football club.The team released a statement, saying: "As a club today we are very devastated to hear that one of our young football players has lost his life."Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and anyone that knew Tomasz." The club also shared a link to a GoFundMe page, which has so far raised over £10,000 to help the teen's family.
