Finnish Traitors contestant Janne Puhakka, was tragically found dead at his home on Sunday 13 October. Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat previously reported that Janne's case was being treated as a murder, with a suspect detained on the scene on suspicion of shooting Janne.
Now, the police have said that Janne was shot twice by his former partner, Rolf Nordmo. Janne died in the home he once shared with his Norwegian partner, Rolf, 66, in Henttaa Espoo, last month.
Rolf, who was 37 years his senior, killed Janne with a hunting shotgun, according to Finnish paper YLE. Matti Högman, who is leading the police investigation, previously told the paper that Janne had moved out of their home after the relationship ended 'several weeks ago'.
Matti added that violence was used 'more than necessary' in the death. Rolf, who held a permit to possess a gun in Norway, is said to have confessed to police about the murder.
