Officers searching for a missing Cheshire teenager have pulled a body from a river. Jonty Evans, from Baddington, near Nantwich, went missing on Friday (August 30).

The 16-year-old boy was last seen between 10.45pm and 11.15pm on Queens Drive, in Nantwich. A major search operation took place to find the youngster throughout the weekend.

Inspector Ashy Sayer, of Congleton Local Policing Unit, said officers were 'growing increasingly concerned for Jonty's welfare' as public appeals for help finding him we issued by Cheshire Police.
