A young mum who was 'like the glue' holding her family together tragically died weeks after giving birth to her second child.
Amelia Smith had suffered with anorexia and, when she struggled with a stomach ache after a meal one night, it wasn't deemed as out of the ordinary.
But the 23-year-old's partner, Tom Mooney, realised something was seriously wrong the following morning. Around two hours after believing Amelia was in a 'deep sleep', Tom found her unresponsive in bed, her inquest heard yesterday (November 1), Amelia was described as a 'gentle, kind and beautiful soul' by her loved ones, the Liverpool Echo reports.
