Tragedy as 'homeless' man found outside Palace Theatre dies

A man rushed to hospital after being found unresponsive in Manchester city centre has tragically died. It happened early this morning (Tuesday, November 12).

Emergency services were called to Whitworth Street at around 6.30am after the man was seen outside the Palace Theatre on nearby Oxford Road.

He was taken to hospital where lifesaving efforts continued, but he sadly later died. The man is understood to have been homeless.
