Tory Lanez hit with THIRD felony charge ahead of Megan Thee Stallion alleged shooting trial

Tory Lanez has been hit with a third felony charge ahead of the start of his trial for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot.Prosecutors say Lanez, 30, real name Daystar Peterson, and Megan, 28, had attended a party in LA in July 2020 and were in Lanez' SUV in the Hollywood Hills with Megan's former assistant Kelsey Harris when an argument started.The rapper is now facing a felony negligent discharge of a firearm charge; he was already charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle - which he has pleaded not guilty to.The charge carries a maximum six-year jail sentence and consequences could also include deportation for the Canadian star.

Strike three: Tory Lanez has been hit with a third felony charge ahead of the start of his trial for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot (pictured December 5)On Monday Lanez was also released from house arrest - which he has been under since October - so he can prepare for his upcoming trial.

Rolling Stone reports  Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge David Herriford terminated the house arrest and ruled Lanez's $350,000 bond in the case would stand.

Deputy District Attorney Kathy Ta had argued that Lanez had allegedly attempted to bribe and intimidate witnesses, and urged the continuation of his monitoring via an ankle monitor.
