Labour MP Barry Gardiner ’s fire-and-rehire reforms ran out of time today and failed to progress. Speaking in the Commons, Gardiner said workers in “almost every sector” were vulnerable to fire and rehire, with 9% of British staff having experienced the threat of the practice.
