Grant Hanley is out of Scotland ’s World Cup qualifiers with Moldova and Denmark. Norwich City boss Daniel Farke has confirmed the central defender will be out for at least two to three weeks with a groin issue.
The German manager revealed the news ahead of his side’s weekend clash with Brentford in the English Premier League. The news will come as a huge blow to Steve Clarke, with Hanley one of Scotland’s top defenders in this World Cup qualifying campaign.
The national team head out to Spain for a training camp next week and then head to Chisinau for Thursday’s game with Moldova, which could seal a play in the play-offs for 2022.
