Motherwell, the 26-year-old is determined to have the last laugh and shut the doubters up. Since leaving Celtic six years ago Watt has played for no fewer than eight teams from Blackburn to Belgium and Bulgaria and back.
Watt is at a stage of his career where he must knuckle down to fulfil the promise which won him a Scotland cap under Gordon Strachan.
He said: “I’ve been here since February and I just want to add to the team and improve. I have chosen the best club in Scotland where I can do that.“I signed a new contract in the summer for a year.
I don’t think money or lifestyle is as important as improving yourself as a player or person.“You see boys moving here and improving and hopefully I help myself to score goals and help the team.
