Sir Tom Jones, 80, recently opened up in a new interview about his childhood health struggles.The Welsh crooner revealed how these left him “bedridden for two years” when he was a boy.Fans of Sir Tom will know the star has been performing as a singer ever since the early 1960s.However, The Voice UK coach has revealed he didn’t have the easiest start in life.When he was only 12-years-old, he was diagnosed with tuberculosis.Speaking about the time in a recent interview he said: “I remember television when it first started in the 1950s.“1952 was then we first got television in Great Britain and I had tuberculosis at that time.“So I was bedridden for two years.
