Toddler, 2, dies in horror caravan park fire as mum and siblings escape

police have stated. Officers were called to reports of a fire at 10:30pm on August 23, where a caravan at Sealands Caravan Park in Lincolnshire was ablaze.

A woman and three of her children were able to escape the caravan safely as it caught fire, but her fourth child has tragically lost her life at the holiday park.

The woman and her children received medical attention at hospital and have since been discharged. The Mirror reports that about 50 people from surrounding caravans were asked to vacate their vans.

They have been able to go to emergency accommodation created at a leisure site.Lincolnshire Police said they expect to remain at the scene for the rest of the day as they carry out their investigation.The cause of the fire has not yet.
