mirror.co.ukTimo Werner has admitted that Chelsea's comprehensive defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League last season concerned him while he was contemplating his transfer to the Blues.
Werner, who made a £48m move to join Frank Lampard's side from RB Leipzig in the summer, has looked dangerous in his two Premier League appearances so far, having won a penalty in each game he has played.
Following his fine form in the Bundesliga last season he had a number of options to choose from for his next team, including Liverpool.
He eventually opted for Chelsea, but admitted their 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich at Stamford Bridge in February in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie worried him at the time.
