Edouard Mendy has been told he will have to wait for his Chelsea debut. Frank Lampard looks set to stick with error-prone Kepa Arrizabalaga and give the Spain keeper one last chance at West Brom.
Chelsea boss Lampard has spoken to Kepa and Willy Caballero ahead of the trip to the Hawthorns but it would seem that £22m signing Mendy has been brought in to try and shake-up the dynamic between the three keepers.
Lampard said: “There’s no clarity on that one yet about what will happen and I’m not going to speak about the maybes or what might happen in the future.
