Country music's biggest stars are opening up about how they get in the zone before stepping on stage. One thing many of the musicians have in common is they like to stay hydrated and make sure their dressing rooms are stocked with everything they need.
Cole Swindell told Fox News Digital that his dressing room always has "plenty of water" and "maybe just a couple of drinks" in case his nerves become too much to handle. "We don't have much of a pre-show ritual.
We always, me and the band, and whatever guest we have, we always get together and do a little toast before, and pretty much remind each other how thankful we are to get to do what we love," he said. "We do a shot and then hit the stage." Tim McGraw previously opened up about how his pre-show ritual has changed over the years.
He wrote in his book, "Grit & Grace: Train the Mind, Train the Body, Own Your Life," that he used to drink before every show, but changed his habits after his family expressed concern.
