But when she returned to her apartment, she had no receipt for a half-empty detergent container and was wearing a black mini dress and full make-up, attire police wrote they found “not conduce to a late-night run to a convenience store” in the report.
Once Cloutier had been read her Miranda rights, she admitted she’d been meeting with a friend 11 miles away and that her mother, aunt and cousin all live nearby.
She admitted she’d “made a mistake” — her home had no cameras by which she could check on her child — and said her “anxiety.
