Police have arrested three teens in connection with a 'mass brawl' sparked at a popular Edinburgh park. Officers raced to The Meadows after the alarm was raised at around 7.45pm on July 31.
Shocking images showed huge crowds in the park.A 19-year-old was cuffed in connection with the alleged smashing of a police van's rear window, while a boy, 15, has been charged with being in possession of a knife.Cops also nicked a 16-year-old over a breach of the peace.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received reports of disturbances at the Meadows Public Park in Edinburgh, on the evening of Friday, 31 July, 2020.“Officers attended and whilst there the rear window of a police van was allegedly smashed.
