A bullying victim confronted the man who'd terrorised him during his school days - leading to three men being knocked unconscious in the ensuing mass brawl.Michael Collins accosted Aaron McBride and accused him of bullying him when they were in primary school.
Collins, 22, then offered to shake hands with McBride, 24.But when McBride refused, Collins threw a punch and led to two groups of pals brawling in the street.
Collins had been at the pub in question with his friend, Nicholas Hunter, 22.McBride was with 21-year-old Russel Ward and 25-year-old Benjamin Crowe, who play for Earlestown Athletic Junior Football Club, that night, September 24, 2023.Liverpool Echo reports they had been at Stocks Tavern on the High Street in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, and that tempers flared around 10pm.Ward, Crowe, and Hunter got involved after they traded blows, brawling with each other in the middle of the street.
The details emerged at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday.Prosecutor Andrew McInnes said: "The two (Collins and McBride) begin a series of scuffles, both throwing punches at each other.
