Three days of festive events in Irvine get underway with funfair and stalls

Online ticket sales are now available for Irvine’s three-day festive celebrations which get underway this weekend and are the biggest in a number of years.Irvine Community Council are running the Irvine Yuletide festivities, which get underway on Friday, November 24 with carol singing at 5.30pm.The Yuletide Light parade will leave Bridgegate (outside the Legacy Hub) at 6pm and will lead on to the moor for Santa’s Grotto, a funfair and a selection of stalls.Kids can dust down their dancing shoes and head to Vineburgh Community Centre for a yuletide kids disco on Saturday, November 25.

There are two sessions one for P1-3 between 6.30pm and 7.30pm and and another for P4-7 between 8pm and 9pm. A tuck shop will also be available.

Tickets are available from info@communitycouncil.org.uk priced £1. Sunday, November 26 sees a Yuletide Family Christmas Show running from 1pm to 3pm in the Volunteer Rooms.This is an afternoon of singers, dancers and entertainment from some of the local talented children and young people in the Irvine community.Tickets cost £5 per family of four (if you have a special requirement please contact organisers for additional information).
