Thousands turn out for family fun day as Hamilton Racecourse launch first event of new season

Thousands of Lanarkshire families had a blast on Sunday as Hamilton Park Racecourse saddled up for their opening raceday of 2022.

The venue teamed together with local charity the Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation for a fun-filled day of activities for children and big kids alike.That included free entertainment from Denver’s Den Fun House, a pirate assault course, surf simulator, Nintendo Switch battles as well as some returning favourites such as segways, bungee trampolines, laser tag and much more.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
