A specialist team at The Christie hospital, the renowned cancer centre in Withington, is already delivering lifesaving chemotherapy and immunotherapy at home for around 6,000 patients a year.
And there are now plans to roll it out more widely, to up to 10,000 patients a year with breast, bowel, kidney, lung, prostate or melanoma skin cancer, the hospital's trust have confirmed.
