Jane's page told that a funeral for her beloved Ed - who was the former drummer of the 1960's band The Searchers - took place today and praised the NHS staff who took care of him at The Wakefield Hospice in the months before his death.
The first Tweet, accompanied by a selfie of Jane and Ed, read: "Announcement 1/2: It is with immense sadness that we share the news that Jane’s beloved long term partner, Ed, passed away on Friday 26th March. "He had been battling lung cancer for the last few months.
