This Morning's Alice Beer has been criticised for handing out doughnuts and cracking jokes as she met members of the public queuing up to see the late Queen Elizabeth II Lying-in-State in Westminster Hall.

The coffin of the late Queen, who died on Thursday, 8 September, is today to being moved to the Hall from Buckingham Palace, and it will remain at Westminster Hall until Monday, 19 September, so that members of the public can come to pay their respects.

Alice, 57, who has been with This Morning since 2014, went to speak to people who have camped out overnight to see Her Majesty Lying-in-State and say their personal goodbyes to a much-loved monarch.The jolly presenter handed out boxes of Biscoff Krispy Kreme doughnuts as she said: "We can pay our respects and eat doughnuts at the same time...
