This Morning star's cause of death revealed after she suddenly collapsed at home
ok.co.ukThe cause of death of This Morning star and medical expert Dr Uchenna Okoye, who passed away suddenly at the age of 53, has been confirmed.The medical expert, who also starred on 10 Years Younger in 10 Days, died on Friday, 15 September.
It has now been revealed that Dr Uchenna lost her life due to a 'subarachnoid haemorrhage' brought on by an aneurysm. MailOnline reports that Dr Uchenna suffered a sudden ruptured blood vessel, which caused a fatal bleed on the brain.
A family spokesperson told the publication: "Dr Uchenna's sudden death was due to natural causes. We are devastated, and our hearts are broken that her beautiful, full life has been cut so short. "As a family, our priority right now is to take care of her young daughter and continue her legacy and keep her memory alive.
A private celebration of her life will be held in the coming weeks." Her personal assistant, Mars Webb, also told the Mail how Dr Uchenna had been healthy up until the point of her sudden passing.The TV star, who leaves behind a seven-year-old daughter, had experienced a normal 'busy week' and was 'happy' in the days leading up to her death.
