Phillip Schofield thanked a fan who anonymously sent him a supportive letter and a “rainbow rose” on Instagram on Wednesday. The 60 year old posted a photo of the beautiful flower he received from the mystery supporter as he captioned: "To whoever sent the lovely anonymous letter & gorgeous rainbow rose, thank you." While comments on the post were restricted, a couple of Phillip’s showbiz friends gave their reactions, as Vanessa Feltz wrote: “Lovely”, and This Morning chef Clodagh Mckenna added a string of rainbow heart emojis.
Phillips’ post comes a week after he returned to social media following a break after the queue-gate saga last month. His first post back was a picture of sunflowers, also sent by a fan, with the caption: “Sunflowers always make me smile, thank you”.
Phillip also shared a happy snap following his Instagram return with fellow This Morning stars Gok Wan and Gino D’Acampo in the ITV studio. “Love these guys,” Phillip gushed in his caption.
His co-host Holly Willoughby also returned to social media last week after taking a break following queue-gate, as she congratulated her friend Lisa Snowdon for winning Celebrity MasterChef.
