Phillip Schofield was forced to cut a segment short on This Morning on Monday after the show experienced sound issues. The 60 year old and co-host Holly Willoughby, 41, had been watching gardening guru and influencer Daisy Payne, 24, speak to fellow floral enthusiasts about a giant flower arrangement shaped in the silhouette of the Queen at the Chelsea Flower Show in London.
As viewers were about to get an insight into the impressive piece made in honour of the monarch’s Platinum Jubilee, the sound through the transmission could be heard cutting out — leaving Phillip with no choice but to stop the segment. “We’re going to have to leave you there unfortunately, because we’ve got a massive problem with the link in audio so we’re losing your sound,” the presenter relayed to Daisy and the viewers at home.

Holly added: “I know what a shame. They were beautiful those flowers”, to which Phillip replied: “They did look gorgeous.” His co-host made sure to continue to urge watchers to make the trip to the Chelsea Flower Show in a measure of quick-thinking as she told them: “You’ll have to go yourself — Sloane Square, go and have a look!” The Chelsea Flower Show is organised the Royal Horticultural Society and is held this year from 24 to 28 May at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea.
