This Morning’s Dr Phillippa is cancer free after major operation and ten days in intensive care

This Morning's Dr Phillippa appeared on the show on Thursday where she gave Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby an update on her cancer battle.

The 40-year-old mum of two recently underwent major surgery on her bowel after she was diagnosed with stage two bowel cancer.

Holly said: "Four weeks ago you joined us, and you opened up about a very personal situation you were going through. "You were just about to have some surgery, you had stage two bowel cancer. "This was a big surgery you've been through, and I know you were at home recovering, how are you?: Dr Phillippa replied: "I am good thank you, it was tough, I had ten days in ICU, very long ,difficult days, and a further five days in hospital. "But, for the first time in nearly 18
