Cat Deeley has apologised for her comments after she said she was 'having a seizure' while dancing to a Meghan Trainor song.
At the beginning of Tuesday's This Morning show, the 47-year-old presenter addressed the audience, and apologised for her comments. "First of all, I just wanted to apologise to anyone who was offended yesterday when I made a light-hearted comment about my dancing style, it really wasn't meant to cause any upset to anybody," she began. "But I can see why that might have been the case.
So I do apologise, I'm very sorry." Co-host Ben Shephard then chimed in: "It would never be our attention would it?" to which Cat responded: "Didn't come from that place at all." On Monday's show, 17 June, the presenters were interviewing Meghan Trainor, who came on the couch to discuss her personal life with husband Daryl Sabara, and the challenges of work-life balance.
Before her interview, the show teased her appearance with the singer's breakout single, All About That Bass, which played in the background.
