For Manchester’s many bars, restaurants and pubs, we are coming up to what can be a bit of an uncertain period. As we inch closer towards Christmas, there will be people who will choose to dine out less as they save up the pennies.
But there will also be others who will go out more as they enjoy this time of year with friends and family - and the idea of going out for a comforting and warming meal is incredibly appealing as the cold nights begin to creep in.
So, it’s in that regard that I feel the need to remind myself and everyone else that restaurant staff, chefs, bartenders and everyone else working in hospitality are continuing to have it hard right now.
