'This is so sad' Eamonn Holmes reacts to tragic news about guest on his Channel 5 show

This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes, 61, has taken to Twitter to address the devastating news that one of his guests who made an appearance on his former Channel 5 show, Do The Right Thing, has died.

Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford, 61, met the Emmott family and their daughter Sarah on their show two years ago. Five-year-old Sarah had been battling the rare condition Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome along with other health problems since birth.

But the ITV star has now told of his sadness at hearing of Sarah's death.In view of his one million followers, the TV host relayed his condolences to the Emmott family.Eamonn wrote: "This is such sad news about Sarah."It was a privilege to meet her and her family and I know @Kalvinphillips brought.
