The Belair Lip Bombs have become the first Australian band to sign to Third Man Records.The band released their debut album ‘Lush Life’ last year via Cousin Will, which will now be reissued on Jack White‘s label.
Physical copies will be available to buy from October 18.“Signing with Third Man has been a dream for us, particularly as the first Australian band on the label,” the band said. “Everyone at the label is a legend and it’s obvious how much love they put into each of their releases.
We couldn’t be more stoked to be joining the Third man fam!”The Belair Lip Bombs are working on their second album, which is expected to arrive next year.Speaking about ‘Lush Life’ when it was first announced, frontwoman Maisie Everett said: “The album is titled Lush Life – these words are referenced a few times throughout the album.
Themes or motifs explored in the album often involve a longing for something that isn’t there, but maybe not quite knowing exactly what that something is.
