Tuesday night’s episode of The Great British Bake Off saw the third baker axed from the iconic tent, as vegetable grower and delivery driver Abbi, 27, was sent home.

During the episode on 10 October the bakers entered the arena with ‘the Breadmaster' Paul Hollywood, as it was time for a number of bread-based challenges.

Starting with a classic cottage loaf in the signature task, the bakers were then tasked with creating a plaited bread centrepiece in the technical.

Following these challenges, Alison Hammond announced that Tasha was the Star Baker, while Noel Fielding had the difficult job of telling Abbi that she would be the third Baker leaving the tent.
